What's Included
Site walk and grade assessment
We look at where water actually runs before deciding what the wall needs to do.
Excavation and compacted base
The trench is dug below grade and the base compacted in lifts — this is what keeps the wall from settling.
Drainage stone and pipe
Clean gravel behind the wall, with perforated pipe daylighted where the grade allows, so water never loads the block.
Block or natural stone construction
Segmental block for clean geometric lines, or fieldstone and boulder work when the look matters more than the grid.
Backfill, capping, and grading
Walls are capped and the area behind them regraded so the finished surface drains away from the structure.
Bed prep and cleanup
We finish with topsoil, mulch, or seed as the project calls for, and haul away all spoils.
